A proposal has been released by the management of the University of Ghana through the consultation of Business and Executive Committee(BEC) on 11th September,2020 on the arrangements for the resumption of University of Ghana students.
The statement been circulated indicates that academic work would be run on modular basis.That is,acdemic materials to be covered in 13 weeks will be done in 6 weeks with adequate contact hours to cover up what was to be taught in the 13 weeks.
Moreover, teaching will be done online with practical lessons organised in a face to face environment for students.In Addition,provisions will also be made for students who wish to stay on campus to carry out their academic activities.This proposal is scheduled to commence on November,2020 for University of Ghana students in Level 200 and L400 thus if it corresponds with the President’s new Covid-19 directives on the reopening of tertiary institutions.

This is an awesome initiative. I will however like to suggest that school authorities should intervene in the massive and unfathomable increase in hostel fees. Especially for Bani hostel.
